my bf always tease me when ever there's something related to vietnam.. due to i really kinda dislike the place... i just felt disgust with it when i saw mag introducing the place... How can they just describe the place as like heaven of everything* food paradise, shopping paradise... and seriously i cant link them at all... (T__T") no offense to those who love the place k...
so now... let me share my experience in hanoi... and u'll know why i dislike that place...
1: ppl hon like crazy.. but it's their norms to horn... so it's kinda scary when u first take the ride... so cant sleep in the car..
2: communication barrier... it's like duck and chicken... same species but never understand each other.. haha~
3: i hate been con... *who does rite~ so let me continue with this...
i think i spent most of my money on their tricycle... * we tot tricycle @ hanoi is like bangkok or even hatyai.. but they charge seriously high... base on USD le... so, normally ppl said don get con. must negotiate first... so u take the ride when u agree with the price... but there's no diff in HANOI here...* so here comes... some tricycle approach us by charging for USD 30 for 1 hour touring around hanoi& ho kiem lake... but we just want to go to shoppng... so... we negotiate till USD1o just to get to the place... but end up.. he charge us USD 1o per pax.. (so fine... i guess it's the communication barrier, so i treat it as misunderstand)
so... we kinda like tired after few hours walk and wanted to go for dinner... we show them the map... and ask them to bring us there.. i know it's just around the corner but wasnt sure with the direction.. so.. we took the tricycle.. we negotiate till 5USD and i make sure is for 2 of us.. and so he nob... when we arrive.. i just paid him USD5 and he wasnt happy.. he grab the other pc of USD5 on my hand and left the place quickly... *seriously stunned by what happened... so.. no more TRICYCLE for the next 2 days...
next.. another conning story of a bread seller along the street...
there's a old lady holding a heavy basket with bread and something like dounut... kinda poor thing.. so i approach her.. * she said USD 1 for 3pc of bread.. *cant remmeber exact amout... so i gave her USD5 due to i don have small change... but she took advantage of it.. she took the money, and give me another few pc of bread and left.. WHAT THE F*** seriously stunned 2...
so no more hanoi trip for me... never ever.. even since.. i will just go halong bay.. that's all... anyway.. sorry for wasting ur time of reading this... but think before u decide...ahhaha
